Controller and contact

Data we process

• Account: name, email, password hash, 18+ confirmation, terms acceptance, account status, device and security records.
• Review profile: display name, date of birth or derived age, city, headline, bio, interests, job title, and uploaded photos.
• Feedback requests: the profile snapshot, external dating platform, question, status, timestamps, and response totals.
• Reviews: selected categories, private constructive note, timestamps, and reviewer account link. The recipient does not receive reviewer identity.
• Trust and safety: private verification selfie and results, reports, blocks, moderation decisions, risk signals, and audit logs.
• Technical: IP-derived security information, app installation identifiers, device tokens if push is enabled, logs, and diagnostics.

Why we use it

• Contract: create accounts, save profile snapshots, operate requested review rounds, return feedback, and provide account controls.
• Legitimate interests: secure the service, prevent duplicate or abusive reviews, moderate content, investigate reports, and improve reliability.
• Legal obligation: respond to valid legal requests and protect users where law requires.
• Consent: optional push notifications and any separately described use that relies on consent. Consent can be withdrawn.

Who sees a review profile

A profile is not placed in a public directory and is not used for dating discovery. When you open a review round, an eligible signed-in reviewer may see the saved profile snapshot and question. Closing a round removes it from the queue. Blank Me does not publish member profiles on the marketing website without a separate, specific consent.

Feedback privacy

Review recipients receive aggregate category themes and approved constructive notes only after the minimum-response threshold. They do not receive the reviewer's name, account, email, or individual category row. Blank Me retains the reviewer link internally so reports, blocks, manipulation, and abuse can be investigated. We do not sell personal data.

Providers and transfers

We may use contracted providers for hosting, storage, email, push delivery, media safety, age assurance, and operational monitoring. Providers act under contract and receive only what is needed. Where data leaves the UK, we use an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism and safeguards.

Retention and deletion

You can delete a feedback round, including its reviews, from Profile Lab. You can delete your account in-app or through the public account deletion page. Active profile and account data is then deleted or de-identified, except limited records retained for legal obligations, fraud and safety evidence, dispute handling, or protected backups. Retention is limited by purpose and access.

Your rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection and may withdraw consent. You can export or delete your account in the app. Contact the privacy address for help. You may complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children and changes

Blank Me is for adults aged 18 or over. We remove and investigate accounts or content suggesting a minor. This version is dated 2026-08-11; material changes receive appropriate notice or renewed consent where required.
