Profile Review Guidelines

Review the profile, not the person

Feedback must focus on editable profile choices: wording, clarity, prompts, photo order, photo context, conversation hooks, and the impression created by the whole profile. A review is an opinion, not a verdict about somebody's value or a diagnosis of why every match did or did not happen.

Keep it constructive

• Choose a genuine strength as well as practical improvements.
• Make optional notes specific, kind, and limited to something the member can change.
• Do not score attractiveness, rank members, or create a hot-or-not comparison.
• Do not criticise a body, disability, race, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, trans status, age, or another protected characteristic.
• Do not sexualise, insult, diagnose, threaten, shame, bully, or humiliate.
• Do not include contact details, usernames, links, phone numbers, or invitations to contact you elsewhere.

Use authentic, permitted content

Upload only profile material you own or have permission to use. Do not impersonate another person, copy a stranger's dating profile, misstate age, upload sexually explicit material, or include anyone under 18. Every recognisable adult shown in a photo must have agreed to its use.

Privacy and boundaries

Do not try to identify a reviewer or profile owner elsewhere, take review content off-platform, publish screenshots, coordinate responses, trade favourable reviews, or retaliate after criticism. Reviewer privacy protects participation; internal accountability protects safety.

Reporting and blocking

Report impersonation, harassment, sexual content, suspected minors, threats, scams, or other unsafe material in-app. Blocks and reports are private. Blank Me may remove content, close requests, restrict reviewing, suspend accounts, preserve evidence, or report unlawful material where required.

Child safety

Blank Me is strictly 18+. Content that sexualises, exploits, grooms, or endangers a minor is prohibited and may be preserved and reported to the appropriate authorities. For child-safety concerns email safety@blankme.co.uk. Do not email illegal material; report it in-app or contact police if someone is in immediate danger.
